Incorrect Child Support Orders

No Gravatar

The following comes to us from the Veterans for Child Support Reform: The New Jersey judiciary is trying to figure out how many incorrect support orders were issued. The Family Part was alerted to the flaw by matrimonial lawyer Robert Rottkamp, who learned his client’s obligation had been set too high after checking it with his own calculator program. The problem has affected as many as 131 cases across the state since 2005, when the judiciary started using the software from Policy Studies Inc., and vicinage personnel are pulling the 131 case files and sending them to the AOC for recalculations. If the AOC finds any discrepancy between what the obligation is now and what the recalculation suggests, those parties will be contacted and given an opportunity to request judicial review of the case, a court official says.

Policy Studies Inc. provides the child support calculations software to New Jersey and many other states. The guy who runs Policy Studies Inc., Robert G. Williams, is a fraud and profits off of his inflated child support calculations. He set up most state child support guidelines which are excessively high. Williams owns over 30 private child support collection agencies in an empire he built on the backs of divorced fathers and broken families. Because he owns these private child support collection agencies, he has no business telling states how to set up their child support and how much to award, including the enforcement of it.

Williams should be sued by fathers, in a class action, for presenting faulty and fraudulent statistics to states that inflate state child support guidelines by at least 30-50 percent, and in some cases way more.

Please take a moment and SIGN for Child Support Reform. You do not have to be directly involved in the Child Support System to Sign this Petition. Yet, we are all apart of the System; if someones’ U.S. Constitutional Rights are being violated, you are being violated. How much more Government interference are you able to put up with? Presently, the Children are always the losers; relationships are being ruined, thousands go to jail and thousands commit suicide each year! PLEASE USE THE COMMENT FORM TO SIGN LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE; Thank You!

About The Author

My name is James (Jim) DeLelys. I have been involved in the Child Support System for nearly 16 years. Over those years I have acquainted myself with countless individuals who have had to bear the burden of a terribly broken and corrupt sytem. It is through 'listening' that I have come to the enevitable conclusion that Child Support Laws and Government interference can not be tolerated anymore.

I tried to have visitation enforced and for that they lied about my income and raised my support order. I was promised to hear your voice, but that never happened. I have never seen my daughter, but I have come to realize that money is worthless. It won’t get you anywhere and under this new crap we’ll all be screwed. When my daughter becomes an adult in a few months she will never have heard her father’s voice or have known him. Wherever you are, I loved you since I held you for the first time. I never got to see you even for your first birthday and not by choice.

  2. I had a horrible experience with West Virginia Supporrt Enforcement over arrearages they claimed I owed. It ended up costing me around $5,000.00 in attorneys fees over a simple issue that could and should have been cleared up with a simple phone call or two, if someone in their office would have been willing to speak to me. They were so sure they had caught a “dead beat dad” that they couldn’t wait to burn me at the stake. With me living in another state it was more cost effective for me to agree on a settlement with the mother of my childern than to continue to throw money at an attorney.

I raised my oldest son as a single father. When I was awarded custody in 1982, the judge refused to order child support because I am a man. This in spite of the mother claiming to earn $25-30k a year, a fair amount of money at that time.

I currently have sole custody of my two young daughters and am raising them as a single father. However, I am happy to say that support is set appropriately this time, only because we avoided the courts and Support Enforcement as much as possible.
