Bradley H: Your honor, there’s ah, there’s no need to
exchange from the Police station. I’m not going to cause any
problems. On the way home, you know, she passes right by my
house where the child is located um; there won’t be any problems
for her to pick up the child on the way home.
Judge Shuford: Well, I’ve ordered the Police station; I’ll let
you talk to Mr. Flowers and um —
Fred Flowers: Well you know since it is in Lawndale —
Judge Shuford: Okay
Fred Flowers: and you’ll be going right by his place, does that
bother you?
Correna H: That’s fine.
Fred Flowers: Can you have Becky — of course –-
Correna H: That’s fine.
Fred Flowers: Becky and her son will be with her —
Judge Shuford: Okay
Fred Flowers: just to pick up the child, I, I think that that
will be safe.
Judge Shuford: Okay, she will pick up the child then at 5:00 pm
at his home.
Fred Flowers: Thank you, thank you
Correna H: Thank you
Bradley H: Thank you
Judge Shuford: And then oh, also put each party to allow
reasonable telephone contact with the child um and that would be
no later than 8pm.
Fred Flowers: Alright
Fred Flowers: They wanting me? Are they calling for me in
superior court? [pause] Damn

Bailiff: Was I reading that guy wrong? He’s very dumb very

Bailiff: I wouldn’t trust him with my dog, much less my child.
Judge Shuford: I, I think — the way he talked about himself in
the third person the whole time [laughter].
